First let me say, I love shampoo and conditioner bars. If you’re new to shampoo & conditioner bars, you may notice that your hair behaves differently at first. It is normal for your hair to go through a transition period when switching from liquid shampoos & conditioners to solid bar. It will be different for everyone – anywhere from one week to a month. Some people never notice a transition period at all. It took about 2 weeks for my hair to fully adjust.
Using a apple cider vinegar rinse will help get rid of extra build-up and oils on the hair and scalp. We recommend doing the hair rinse before you start using our hair products then once every 2 week if needed.
You will want to shampoo as normal and then apply the apple cider vinegar hair rinse. You want to leave it on the hair for at least a few minutes before rinsing out. You can also leave it in your hair overnight! If you leave it in, it will help prevent tangles. Since it restores your scalp’s pH level, it will also help and prevent an itchy scalp.

Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse Recipe

1/4 cup to 1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 cups water
If your hair is dry, use less apple cider vinegar. If your hair is more on the oily side, use more apple cider vinegar.

High Porosity hair and Normal Porosity hair benefits from the ACV rinse.

Lemon Rinse
Low porosity hair- Shampoo once. Use 1 cup of a Lemon rinse ( 1 cup Lemon Juice) put on a shower cap for 5 to 10 min. Then used the conditioner bar.

The huge benefit for using 100% Natural Shampoo & Conditioners bars, I was no longer adding wax, silicone and unknown ingredients that contain harsh detergents such as sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, ammonium laureth sulfate and cocamide DEA to my hair thus, stripping my hair of all its natural oils. I found out I was able to shampoo less.
